Tommy Lee was arrested by North Carolina cops in October 1999 and charged with assault and inciting a riot with ethnic animosity (the alleged crimes occurred during a concert). In March 2000, Pam’s ex pleaded no contest to simple assault and was sentenced to 18 months probation.
NBA star Jason Kidd was arrested by Paradise Valley, Arizona police in January 2001 and charged with domestic abuse. Kidd pleaded guilty and was ordered to attend anger management classes.
White Stripes frontman Jack White was booked by Detroit cops in December 2003 on an aggravated assault charge. The 28-year-old singer allegedly pummeled a fellow rocker at a Detroit nightspot.
Robert James Ritchie (aka Kid Rock) was arrested by Nashville cops in February 2005 and charged with misdemeanor assault after getting into a fight with a Tennessee strip club DJ. Tara Patrick (aka Carmen Electra) was arrested by Miami Beach police in November 1999 and charged with battering her husband, former NBA star Dennis Rodman. However, charges against the “Baywatch” star were eventually dropped.
Vince Vaughn was arrested by North Carolina cops in April 2001 and charged with fighting in public for his part in a brawl outside a New Hanover County bar (the movie star was in town working on the film “Domestic Disturbance”). During the melee, fellow actor Steve Buscemi was stabbed several times. Vaughn entered a no contest plea and the minor charge was dropped six months later.

According to America’s Star magazine, Kids In America producer Andrew Shaifer, who picked the release date for his film four months ago, believes hotel heiress Paris deliberately selected the date as a publicity stunt.
But Andrew is not worried about the box office clash. “After seeing House of Wax we obviously got the better actress,” he said.
That’s nice that you’re so confident Andrew, but it’s probably not good PR to even compare your film to House of Wax in even a passing fashion. House of Wax: The movie the crew nearly destroyed a whole studio neglecting to realize a set made of wax was a bit of a fire hazard.
On the 26 June 2004 a sound stage being used for the film burned to the ground during a test of special effects equipment. The fire was started by a candle destroying a studio where this movie was being filmed at Warner Bros Movie World on Australia’s Gold Coast. One crew member was treated for burns to his arm no one else was injured. The smoke from the fire also crossed onto a nearby heavily used Highway which caused health concern’s for driving motorists, the Highway was not shut down during this incident.
